    LAKE LA-4 NICE AIRCRAFT Vehicle Description 1969 Lake LA-4/180 HP Lycoming with New Q-tipedHartzell constant speed propeller, and battery. Current Annual The only one built without the retractable landing gear. This lightens the aircraft to 1350 pounds empty weight (over 200 pounds lighter)takes off in about 300′Remarkable 1050 pound useful load. This is a 4-place aircraft although I do not have the rear seats. Detachable beaching gearremoves in a matter of minuteswith 3 quick pins on each main gear upon launching. Sale includes tow bar for launching. This A/C spent the first 27 years with one owner in Canadian until 1997 then itwas brought back to the USto eastern Washington where second owner acquired it in 2002 and sold it in 4/2007 to me. Needs nothing but to be flown, turn key. 130MPH at approx. 9 gal/hr. Complete logs, no damage, never in salt water,or corrosion history. Training available for transition at site.
