For sale is this sharp looking 1974 Piper PA-32 300, Cherokee Six. It has 4085 Total Time, 35 since major O/H on the engine, and 750 since major O/H on the prop. I have all logs books since day one, a clear title, registration, and airworthiness certificate.The paint is terrific as you can see from the pictures. It is in great condition (no corrosion) and just had an annual inspection this month.The interior is all original and still in pretty good condition. The glass is good to go. It has all six big seats and the small seventh jump seat. The plastic and carpets are in average condition. The pilot seat has the pneumatic control for up and down adjustment. There are brakes on both pilot and copilot side so the kids can fly it too. The seats pop out quickly in order to stuff that refrigerator through the cargo door! I have the wheel pants and a cover that snaps over the windows which go with the sale.If there is a down side I guess it’s the original King radio package. Everything works and it is the original installation so it’s clean and neat under the panel. The two KX170Bs still do the job. It has all of the standard stuff; audio panel, VOR, Glide Slope, TPX with Encoder, ADF and Loran. No auto pilot! The engine runs and flies great as you would expect since it was just over hauled. I’ve owned a PA32 260 and thought it was heavy hauler but this 300 horse power bird is unbelievably strong. It will haul what it weighs. This is the Chevy Suburban of the sky. When you throttle it back to about 60% it uses 12 to 13 GPH. The four tanks hold over 80 gallons of fuel. You’ll stay awake switching tanks to keep it in balance on a long trip.This aircraft was previously damaged. The former owner ran it into the hanger door. It was professionally and expertly repaired and is priced (accordingly) below book value. The only way to tell any damage is to check the logs (no patches). This aircraft is for sale and is advertised elsewhere. The auction may end early due to other venues. I fully expect bidders to call me (859 536-4952) and to inspect it prior to the sale. The aircraft is hangared at Mt. Sterling, Kentucky (I0B), which is about 100 miles S.E. of Louisville or Cincinnati. Deposit is required with full payment upon delivery and bill of sale.
